The Public Service: Guidelines on what constitutes sexual harassment and the procedures to be followed in cases of sexual harassment

This document is intended to disseminate information to all public officers about what is perceived as sexual harassment and the relative rights and obligations of Heads of Department and employees. In particular, it is meant to ensure that it is clearly understood that sexual harassment at the place of work is prohibited and can give rise to serious consequences. The procedures outlined in this document apply to alleged cases of sexual harassment experienced by all public officers whether employed full-time or part-time and also to all persons engaged on contract whether though the Public Service Commission or not, as well as any students and trainees attached to the Public Service during the period of their contract, attachment or traineeship.
