Code of Ethics for Employees in the Public Service
establishes standards of correct behaviour expected of public sector employees and is a guide to solve ethical issues which may arise
for employees who work in the public sector.
While there is no set of rules capable of providing answers to all ethical
questions, this Code provides the framework for appropriate standards of conduct
in a variety of contexts.
This Code complements existing legalisation and regulations and its observation
by public sector employees shall not be interpreted as exonerating them from the
obligations stated in relevant legislation and regulations.
